The only thing that I can say is you are best whatever and whoever are. Yes, it's hard but you hold and make your own decision, it's your life. If ever you want to be the best version of yourself, go for it. Do what you want that will make you happy, as long as you are not hurting others intentionally.

We all have the freedom to do things, we are not deprived of liberty. People have personal rights, who is preventing you to be the best version of yourself? If you want to master something, you don't have a shortcut to it. You must experience the hardship, the right path for it. Yes, I always say to myself that I wanna be the best at dancing but I know to myself that I can't, because I don't have the body like others, I move like a robot. But practice makes perfect, if I won't try it how will I know? The only conflict that I have in my mind is, we can't stop comparing ourselves to others. Why they are good at it and I'm not? Stop worrying about them, you have a goal to achieve not people to impress. I don't know if it's just being self-conscious or what but the important is you are aware that they can do things the same as you can, do not be an insecure

We are limitless, no one is setting a limit to us but only ourselves. If you keep on saying "this is all I can do," yet you know you can achieve more. Be confident enough to try things, be ready to face mistakes, accept the reality that you can't grow if you'll give up, you will not grow if simply fail attempts will pull you down. One time while scrolling social media I have read a post saying, "If you fail, never give up because FAIL means First Attempt In Learning. If you want to learn, you should not be afraid to fail.

You are not good at dancing, singing, acting, sports like others but definitely, you are good at what you want to do. You are not special like others but you are special on your way, and that's what makes you peculiar. You have your uniqueness that others don't know yet, be confident enough to show what you have. Be yourself don't change just because it's on-trend. Live your life the way you wanted not the way people demanded.

As the year 2022 started several positive cases in many countries increased. One of the possible effects is the new variant of the virus that was first detected in South Africa called “omicron.” World Health Organization keeps on telling us to prevent the spread of CoViD by maintaining the safety health protocols. Especially that the omicron is no joke in terms of its mutation.

So, there is one girl that my mom called a brat. She just escaped to her quarantine hotel to party at a specific place in Makati, Philippines. She came back from the US and like a spoiled brat, the Poblacion girl overstep the quarantine protocols fifteen minutes after she arrived at the hotel (quarantine facility) without knowing that she is positive with omicron. By the way, her name is Gwyneth Chua a.k.a Poblacion girl, she was named after the street name where she went to a party.
What a selfish act that she has done. An act to fulfill her satisfaction without thinking about those people who will be infectious because of her. Why not party after getting her result in the CoViD test? And look now, she infected not just one person but around fifteen base on the last update of contact tracing, with whom she socialized with. According to the news, it happened because of the connections. Some staff in the hotel is liable for the Poblacion Girl's violations, including her parents. The violators are facing the case “Republic Act No. 11332 or the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act.”

The girl bragged that she can come out of the quarantine facility because of her connections. The test result of those who are at the party with her are all positive and also those who had contacts with tested positive people got the virus too. That’s how the omicron mutate.
According to the statement of one in the party said, “They didn’t formally invite Gywneth Chua to the party. It was supposed to be a family dinner.” She was just taken in by her boyfriend, who are invited to the dinner. The simple act for her risked the life of those people that she encountered.

We are facing a serious issue, does it hard to follow the protocols for the sake of the people around you? Irresponsible and covetousness act put yourself in worse situations, money can make the world go round like what the violator has done, the connection she is talking about.

We know that not all the subjects thought in class are beneficial for our future. Can you able to use what have you have learned in Physical Education in your job as a cashier in grocery stores? I am not saying that studying is not essential but can somehow, government do better research on what is the curriculum will be more useful for student’s future. I still believe in what Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Education plays a crucial role in our life, you change the world like what thought in school, the knowledge, and abilities that they mold, it will help you to face the challenges. My mother often says education is the only thing that I can inherent to them, no one can seize it. Also that if you are educated you can change and understand how to give solutions to any problems and challenges you are about to face. With your knowledge, skills, talents, and abilities you can change the world. With or without the certificate of graduation, you can help to change the world where you are in.

We are surrounded by different kinds of people domestic helpers, lawyers, actors, housekeepers, street sweepers, and so on but we can’t judge and look down on them just because of their professions. We don’t know what kind of struggle they faced and continue dealing with. Some are educated but the question is are they using what they learned? Some use their power to, degrade and discriminate against powerless people. We used to admire educated people but we must remember that well-mannered people are better than well-educated ones – unknown.

For some wearing, formal attire is a sign of success. Can you able to define success? Can the subjects thought in a class is enable them to give the meaning of success? One time I read a post saying that Bill Gates doesn’t have a college degree yet he was once the richest man in the world and Harvard University called him “most successful dropout.” He doesn’t have a college degree, but it did not become a hindrance for him to become a successful man, who founded the software company “Microsoft Corporation,” with his friend. Also, he doesn’t regret ditching college. That is one of the reasons why we should not judge others for not having a college degree.
We can’t deny the fact that some students don’t have any interest in studying. They are thinking to work and earn money than continuing studying. Focus on what their passion is. Some parents put too much pressure on their children by having many expectations in academic grades. I have known someone who is a consistent honor student and one time that person have a low grade than the usual, she cried and said “My mom will get mad, and will compare me to my younger sister” I felt bad for her, do the grades is the basis of everything? The expectations that parents have for her gives pressure on the student.

Education is indeed important, it teaches us, it molds our skills and talent yet it gives pressure on some students by having unexpected grades. Students are being compared to others that lead to stress and anxiety. If a student feels that they are not good enough to meet their parent’s outlooks, they will tend to find what’s wrong, and solutions such as studying extremely, thinking they, must reach or better yet surpass it. There where anxiety and stress are starting to possess them. There are some cases in the present time that students are committing suicide because of depression in studying. Why not school teach students to become what they want and stop putting pressure on them? And for parents too, Everything is started at home and how you raise your children, remember that it’s not about having high grades, it’s all about enjoying and finding what your children want to pursue.

For students who are facing many difficulties, challenges, and pressure, take a break for now. Do what will make you delighted. Be responsible, communicate with your parents, and make them understand what matters for you.

Most people tend to say I’ll do it later, tomorrow, or don’t have a specific time when you can do it now and some forget to do a thing for always saying later. It is another term for procrastination, a barrier that will prevent a person to make little progress. For example, a teacher gave a project that will due two weeks from now, I knew that the deadline will be far from now, instead of doing it early like what the teacher told, I wasted my time doing nothing to my cellphone, checking social media notification until the due date of the project is a day after tomorrow. I will rush everything just to pass on time or worse late than the set time. We can’t deny the fact that sometimes, we blame the teacher for letting us do a lot of things when in fact it’s our fault that we wasted the given time on unworthy things. We will rant and sometimes say a word that is not good to hear just to blame the education system, it’s one of our defense mechanisms to avoid blaming ourselves and play as a “victim”. If it’s not about being lazy then, what is it? It is the major factor why sometimes we fail, we tend to delay things to happen early as we can and let the time pass by us without doing anything.

This habit is a negative trait that we have, we must free ourselves to mañana habit enables for us to succeed and not “mamaya na”. If you connect it to procrastination you will see that there is no difference for both terms. It refers to practice (because it’s a habit) of putting down the hard works to be done the next time until one doesn’t have any choice but to do it.

Why it’s so hard to prevent this habit? Maybe because we found the work as a boring one, it’s not what we want to do, just by thinking of it you found yourself tired, even you know that it is important. We failed to manage our time, energy, and attention. According to research, the effect of the mañana habit is “People get sluggish sometimes that they tend to put off some tasks that could've or should have done right away. It's been a habit for most Filipinos that usually lead to cramming, where one would just start working when the deadline is near or will be on the following day.” There is a distraction why most Filipino commit this habit, for example, if you are studying but you found that subject hard, boring because you don’t have energy and it’s not your favorite subject. You took a break and think to check your phone just for five minutes, you are consuming time and it entertains you and forgot that you are studying. You realized that it gives you stress that’s why you just scroll but worse is you didn’t follow the plan that you set and will say “ahh, the deadline is far from now, there is always a later. Once you break the plan, it will continue without realizing that you lose your time.

What’s stopping you to do a task as early as you can? Laziness, cell phone? Do you need someone to motivate you? How about your dream? Isn’t it enough to make your path towards it? The mamaya na habit is a goal/dream killer because it prevents you to start what you have planned. To achieve a dream, you must start to take baby steps. Little progress is still progress. Make today your day one. Do it for yourself and say, “No more excuses.” – Rappler

These are some ways to Fix mañana habit :

• Set a goal

-Think of a most important task that you need to do

• Make a Plan

-Takedown that task and start preparing. As much as possible put your phones away from you if you are going to start.

• Get to work

-Start the task, focus, and stay away from any distraction

• Stick to it

-If you felt tired take a break and refresh your mind then continue

• Reach your Goal

-If ever you have done it without giving up, Congratulations you made it, and keep it out.
Reward yourself.

You can also use the Pomodoro Technique
It says here to focus on studying, learning, and doing important things in 25 minutes and take a break for 5 minutes. This technique is proven helpful especially to students like me.

What are you still waiting for? Go and improve your days. It will be the path to reach the goal you had set. Success will not wait for you. Struggle and hard work now, and enjoy later.
